Mission & Projects

The Lambda Kappa Kappa Foundation was established in 2002 as a non-profit human service agency that provides social services and recreational activities for the elderly, children, and low-income families in the Greater Baton Rouge area.  We foster, evaluate, and disseminate programs that foster ethical, social, and intellectual development for the elderly, low-income families, and youth.  The Lambda Kappa Kappa Foundation, Inc. exists to enhance the social responsibility of all mankind.

In addition to existing our annual donations to curb hunger (Thanksgiving meal giveaway) and to protect against domestic violence (Butterfly Society), we will be adding two new initiatives to our overall mission.

We will be contributing $5,000 to scholastic endeavors to students from primary schools to colleges. This includes scholarships for students entering four-year accredited institutions and those matriculating thru local trade schools.  We also plan to fund one STEM workshop and one field trip to the Louisiana Arts & Science Museum at local elementary schools.

Furthermore, the LKK Foundation plans to provide an additional $4,000 to promote healthy living and social action causes such as voter registration, education, & mobilization and life mentoring programs.
